Camden Children in Care Council

Camden Children in Care Council has been hosting a series of conversation for children and young people from Black, Asian and other ethnic minorities.

Young people have facilitated conversations together with Partnership for Young London.

Key themes raised by young people and some of the actions to take forward included:

• the history of the Black Lives Matter movement and the impact of the recent events on the society and changes taking places as a result of the movement

• young people to have a safe space to talk about experience of being Black, Asian and form other minority background

• to have events for young people in care and care leavers to raise awareness of the impact of Black Lives Matter on young people

All Camden children and young people are invited to join Childre in Care conversations and events.
