Camden STEAM Comission launch at Google offices

Camden organised a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) Commission to create better links between local businesses and schools, and make sure all young people can get the best opportunities for future jobs. It has focused on creating more chances for learning, work experience and apprenticeships in creative, digital and science.

Local businesses based in Camden, such as Facebook, Google and Viacom have been involved in the Commission, as well as Camden’s Youth MPs. It has collected evidence from a range of different sources, including hearing from young people in schools and colleges.

The STEAM Commission is now launching its recommendations for schools, businesses and young people on 12th June. The event will be hosted at Google’s Kings Cross Offices.

If you would like more information about the Commission, please get in touch with Chris Bowles ([email protected])

Many thanks,

Chris
