FWD service

Posted on 24 September 2013

Hi I’m Bethan Gibbs and I work as part of a project called FWD.

FWD work with young people aged 18 yrs and under who use drugs or alcohol. We can also work with young people until they are 25 yrs old if they are accommodated within Camden’s Care Pathways.

The work we would undertake with you is confidential and we will not share the information that you tell us – unless for example we are really worried about yours or someone else’s safety or wellbeing (but we will always discuss this wherever possible with you first).

We work with you to provide you with information and awareness about drugs, so that you can make an informed choice about your drug use.

We are a young-person centred service and we aim to be as adaptable and flexible as possible with our approach so that we can make it as easy as possible for you to meet with us.

You can refer yourselves for support from FWD. We also accept referrals from family members or from people involved with you.

We are based at Vadnie Bish House, but we work Camden-wide with young people. If you would like any further information or advice about any types of drug or if you are worried about your own or someone else’s drug use, please contact us on: 020 7974 4701 or email: [email protected].’
